My name is Kimberly Sánchez, I am from Ecuador, and I have been serving at Roeh Baptist Church for more than 10 years. I grew up in a traditional Catholic family. In the neighborhood where I lived with my father, my mother, and my sister, a neighbor invited us to a Christian church. We began attending and, after a few years, we accepted Jesus as our Savior. Throughout this time, I have been able to see God’s grace in my life at every moment, and I have come to recognize that in His hands I am useful—for in Christ I am a new creation.

in Ecuador, we had the beautiful opportunity to witness how God works through The J. C. Fish Co. and the Roeh Baptist Church. As a church, we visited El Matal, a beach on the Ecuadorian coast where there is great need, not only materially but also spiritually. It was a very special time because we were able to connect with the community during a local festival.

There, together with young people from various ministries, we organized several games with the children of the area. Their smiles and joy reminded us of the importance of sowing love through the simplest acts. We also had moments to share about Jesus, pray for their lives and their families, and bring a message of hope that can only be found in Christ.

Seeing how God opens doors and allows us to serve in this way fills us with gratitude. Every hug, every word shared, and every prayer lifted up were seeds planted in faith, trusting that the Lord will make grow what was sown in those hearts.
